Open to all

Ken Blacker

LHRG are delighted that Ken Blacker will give a talk at our March meeting.  His talk will be entitled 'London's buses from a personal perspective 1949-1989', covering trams and trolleybuses as well as motor buses.  Ken will illustrate his talk with his own pictures, and will draw on the different jobs he did in London Transport.

The meeting will be held on Thursday 12 March 2015 at 55 Broadway, London SW1 (St James's Park underground) at 18.00 for 18.30.

1949 marks the start of the period covered by Ken's talk. In 1949, CR36 was hard at work on route 213, seen here in Sutton. Photo © Alan Cross
