Martijn Gilbert

Rather belatedly the 2021 Presidential Address will be given by 2020/21 President Martijn Gilbert. For the first time ever this will be by Zoom rather than as a physical event in London. 

Martijn Gilbert is the Managing Director of Go North East, part of the Go-Ahead Group, which has 3,000 employees and operates more than 1,000 vehicles across the North East of England and in its Hull-based subsidiary company, East Yorkshire.

Martijn gave an inspirational Presidential Address in London in 2020 and will follow it with another in his unique second year of presidency, brought about by the unusual circumstances of 2020.  This time it will be available to members throughout the British Isles and beyond.
