Jon Batchelor

Jon Batchelor has had a long and distinguished career in bus operation in London, most recently as Head of Operations with HCT Group. HCT is an unusual, award-winning social enterprise with a background in Community Transport, though operates 18 London bus routes including the 26 (Waterloo-Hackney Wick), 388 (London Bridge-Stratford) and 20 (Walthamstow Central-Debden) from garages at Ash Grove and Walthamstow. 

Topically, his talk will include how HCT pulled through the pandemic. 

This meeting will take place at The Abbey Community Centre, 34 Great Smith Street, Westminster London SW1P 3BU at 18.00 for 18.30. Great Smith Street is served by the 88 bus; it is a short walk from the Westminster Abbey stops on routes 11, 24, 148 and 211 and from Westminster or St James's Park Underground stations.
