Well-known bus historian Roger Torode gives us a presentation on the fascinating topic of London's horse buses, delving into the origins of today's London bus network from a period rather earlier than we often cover at our meetings. 

This meeting will take place at The Abbey Community Centre, 34 Great Smith Street, Westminster London SW1P 3BU at 18.00 for 18.30. Great Smith Street is served by the 88 bus; it is a short walk from routes 3, 11, 12, 87, 159 and 453 and from Westminster or St James's Park Underground stations.
