Scottish Branch - South-west area tour

9:00 from Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow outside Buchanan Bus Station (north side).

Unfortunately, the proposed weekend tour to Aberdeen has been cancelled due to insufficient interest.     As a substitute, there will be a day tour to south-west Scotland on the above date.    Stuarts of Carluke will provide the coach for the tour which will depart from Cowcaddens Road, Glasgow outside Buchanan Bus Station (north side) at 09.00.    

Visits are proposed to Houstons and McCalls at Lockerbie,  Brownriggs at Thornhill, Liddells at Auchinleck and  the Stagecoach Western depots at Dumfries and Kilmarnock. McCalls have two premises in the Lockerbie area and Andy McCall has promised to transport us “in something interesting” between the two sites.    

There will be a lunch stop of around one hour at Dumfries Town Centre.     The tour will return to Glasgow around 18.00 and the fare will not exceed £25.00.
